Serenity left a message on the answering machine. "Damn it Zane if you're there pick up! I need to speak to you! Do not do anything stupid! Where the hell are you! If you don't call me back within the next minute then I'm coming to track you down," she hissed.

Zane didn't even bother to listen to the message as he strolled up the walk-way towards his house, looking determined. He knocked on the door, finding himself staring into the eyes of his mother. "Kill me." he said simply. "I no longer deserve to live..." he said, handing over an ice blade, the point of it gleaming with sharpness.

"Damn it!" hissed Serenity. During that time, she had already began tracking his scent. She ran away in the direction he was, where his scent was strongest.

Zane's eyes closed as his mother plunged the blade into his chest, twice actually, but thankfully both times missed his heart, leaving him on the ground, blood trailing out of the wounds as he stared upward. "I'm sorry, Serenity..." he whispered.

Serenity arrived a few moments later. "Oh my god! Zane!" She glared up at her. "What the HELL did you do to him?!" she snarled.

Zane's mother merely shrugged, and lodged the ice sword in the ground. "He asked me to kill him, so I did..." she said smoothing before going back into the house and slamming the door behind her.
Well, Zane wasn't EXACTLY dead...just was stabbed twice and still breathing shallowly while outcold.

Serenity frowned. "You stupid bitch!" she screamed in rage. She caught the housed on fire in her rage, using her powers to seal it shut, so no one could get out.
She picked Zane into her arms, focusing on him with her good eye, feeling tears fall down her face, "Zane, don't be dead! PLEASE! Dont be DEAD!" she whimpered.

Zane only stirred lightly and stayed out of it, breaths coming out in shallow bursts of cold air.

Serenity whimpered, then glanced at the burning house. She brought her attention back to Zane as she walked away. She carried him til she was tired and rested him on a rock. She pulled off his shirt to observe the wounds. She brushed her fingertips against it to see how bad it was. She ripped the shirt, making a stri[ of cloth, and she wrapped it on his first wound gently. She took off some of her sleeve to tie it, and she used another strip if his shirt to cover the second wound. When she was finshed, she rested her head against his chest. "Oh Zane," she whispered.

A shudder of pain came from Zane as Serenity brushed her fingers along the wound and he let out a small whimper. "Just kill me, mother...just kill me..." he whispered, thinking that it was his own mother that was 'tormenting' him.

Zane whimpered quietly, having some sort of odd dream with his mother involved in it. "No...stop tormenting me, mother...just kill me now...you're not my Serenity..." he whispered.

Serenity frowned slightly, stroking his forehead. "Calm down, Zane," she whispered, cradling him in her arms now.

Zane groaned softly in pain, closing his eyes tighter as he squirmed slightly in Serenity's grasp, still thinking that his mother was toying with him before she actually decided to kill him.

Serenity looked at Zane carefully. He looked to be in so much pain. She didn't bother to brush her hair out of her blinded eye. She carried him all the way back to the school grounds, keeping him safe from harm the entire time.

Zane's chest fluttered up and down faintly as his breaths came out in shallow bursts of icy cold air. His hair was a startling shade of blue, more of an actual ice blue...
