Serenity walked to a corner and sat there, bringing her legs to her chest, and buring her face in her arm, and began to cry. "How can you call this NOTHING ZANE," she wailed. She began to cry harder. "I am nothing to you, right, just a doll. That's all I EVER was to anyone!"

Takai blinked slightly. She was curious. Whatr was going on was her biggest thought.
Serenity looked up, her face covered in tears, her eyes, nearly lifeless. "I should be about used to this now. . . . yet, I keep trying, hoping for the best, and nothing ever happens, now does it," she whimpered, standing to her feet, and rushing out the door.

"Come back, Serenity!" Zane squeaked, flailing slightly, but just standing there. He sighed. "Women..." he muttered underbreath.

Takai blinked. "Oh, well, right?" she asked. "That's what Cade says," she commented, grinning. "Is that your sister?" she asked after a moment.

Serenity stopped when she reached the spot where she met Zane. The tree. THe one she wanted to destroy in the beginning. The place where her life really began for her. She kicked the tree. "Maybe I should burn it," she hissed darkly. She sat down in the grass and looked into the sky, whispering Zane's name. "Oh, Zane, I just want you to be happy. . . . my happiness is no longer important . . ."
