Zane shrugged. "I would like to sleep..." he said, bobbing his head up and down half-hearted, feeling bad that Serenity was now blind.

Serenity sighed. "Alright, if you insist . . . " she said trailing off, but I want to sleep next to you," she said with a small wink.

Serenity grinned slightly, leaning close enough to kiss his nose. She smiled slightly, snuggling under him, and sliding under the covers to lay her head against him. "Alright," she whispered gently in his ear.

Zane blushed slightly and cuddled ackwardly against Serenity, yawning sleepily.

Serenity kissed Zane's chhek, and shut her eyes lightly, letting herself drift into a deep slumber as she cuddled against Zane.

Serenity turned in her sleep, obviously having a bad dream. She was afraid, terribly afraid. She shivered lightly, moaning out in her sleep in pain. "No . . . . no, don't hurt him . . . " SHe tossed and turned several times.

Zane grumbled something in his sleep as he wrapped his arms tighter around Serenity, eyes firmly closed as he hugged her close.

Serenity snuggled against him turning slightly, her dream becoming more violent. She let out a whimper of pain pushing back at Zane.

Zane groaned in annoyance, flickering his eyes open as he looked at Serenity. "Serenity...wake up."

"Yeowch!" Zane yelped, being punched in the nose. He hopped about, hands clutched over his nose. "Ow ow ow!"

Serenity let out a high pitched wail of pain. "Nooo, don't hurt Zane . . . . please . . . " she whimpered.
