Chapter 1:
New Arrivals:
It was a new semester starting at Majikku Academy. The Academy for gifted students of all sorts. The large grounds spread far and beyond a normal campus. Its rolling plains repetitious to those who have walked the grounds for years. Yes, the school had students of many sorts, humans, elves, cat people, werewolves, vampires, and sorcerors of many talents and magic. Some students have tragic pasts of woe and horror. No love or care from their families. Others were cared for deeply. Love and care came from their families, but what the students find out at Majikku Academy is how alone and loved they really are, and how much alike they may be to others.
A school to find out who you are, and to put your powers to good, not evil. To captivate others who don't posess the power, to keep on living a dream you cannot imagine. The main part is finding the place where you belong around other students. The school was primarily designed for these purposes, and the purposes still stand as a student finds their dream, their wish, and make it all come true.
As the sun began to set the grounds seemed to darken as the moon began to flood over the area, bringing night to everyone. A tall slender girl with long bright blue hair strode across the grounds, blinking in irritation from the brightness of the moon. It bothered her a lot. She narrowed her light green eyes, full of inquiry. What would her school be like this year? Yes, it was true that she could manipulate fire and darkness as her power, but why did that make her special enough to be in this school.
Why am I even at this stupid school, thought Serenity with a sigh.
Her gaze flicked over to a boy sitting against a tree, a pencil hung in his mouth, and a second one behind his ear. A sketch book sat in his lap. He looked no older than fourteen. Serenity blinked casually as to he didn't notice her.
