Zane didn't know why, but he'd had the sudden urge to go visit his family. He truly was confused as to why he wanted to visit them when he'd had not even seen them since he was a child. He wasn't even sure if they lived in the house anymore! He sighed, running his fingers through his hair as he watched the scenery go by on the bus. He'd taken a few days off of school for this occasion, since it was a family problem. He'd told no one where he was going as he pressed his face against the glass window of the bus, shivering lightly because it was cold and the middle of winter with a blanket of snow covering the land.

Zane sighed as he stared at the floor, standing up when the bus reached his stop, somewhere in Detriot, Michigan. He stepped from the bus, unsure if he really should visit his family. He glanced around, eyes tearing up slightly. This was where he had grown up...all his horrible childhood memories came flooding back as he wandered down the street, currently not even wearing a jacket and using some inner flame to keep him warm. The area was lovely with large house, he glanced at everyone of them, finally stopped in front of one. He stood ridged as he saw a shadow in the window quickly glance out then back in. The front door opened, leaving Zane looking at a tall male, taller than him by far, with light brown hair and green eyes. It was easy to tell the two were related; Blake, Zane's brother.

"Blake." Zane said flatly, crossing his arms slightly as he peered curiously at his elder brother. Nothing had changed about the guy. Still perfect, as always in his parents eyes. "You haven't changed a bit..." he snorted.
"So I haven't," Blake said flatly, suddenly yelling out. "Mother! The idiot freak's back!"
Zane flinched when he heard his brother yell and his throat went dry.
