It was a calm and allluring day. Of course the skies werealways a deep ocean blue like this, but that always seemed to make the beauty rein so much more freely. It was nice to have things like that. It was something to actually look forward to in life. Of course life was always full of ups and downs, but it was the little things that seemed to mean the most sometimes. It was always the gentlest things thatmeant the most to some people, yet cruelty always found its ways into people hearts and souls and it stayed there like a blade and it twisted its way into their hearts more and more just like adding salt to an open wound. It let them cower and whimper before its greater power and it hurt others as well.
A soft wind though seemed to blow these dark and twisted thoughts away, and that was always a good thing. Being as fierce as you could be didn't always protect you from these things, so you always had to be on your guard. As the sun seemed to ebb its way into the horizon to brighten up the sky and bring a new day to shine upon everyone, a girl seemed to move into the shadows more. She wasn't ready just yet for the light. It was annoying, and for the most part it was simply a bother to her. She let her eyes close for a brief moment as she reopened them quickly.
She let her red cat tail flick slightly as she twictched her ears cutely. She was definately on her way to school. Yes, she was just starting here in Tokyo, Japan. It was her own story, and she definately had a right to it. Flamethrower Takahaya was the name she was known as. She was born in Japan, yet she had transferred to America briefly after her mothers death. It was sad to leave all of her friends behind before, but it was definately something that she had had to do. Nothing could have stopped that, and the past was something that she wanted to forget about. She let herself move now closer to the crowd of people in the school yard. She couldn't let them detect that she was nervous though. Being nervous was definately a sign of weakness; something that she was never allowed to show. So, with that, she took a seat on a nearby bench, her bag in her arms and her gaze fierce and stern. Most people would be afraid to approach the girl though, but she wanted them to think that; at least for now.
