It seemed to be a nice enough day. The sun shining down upon the town. It was annoying though to have to be the lonely person in town, the girl who everyone looked down upon. She was different. She wasn't normal at all, and that was what seemed to bother her. She wanted to run away from her destiny oh so badly, but she couldn't. She let out a small sigh as she moved forward, her large brown eyes gentle and light as she stared ahead of her at the school she was approaching and going to be attending for that matter.
She let out a slight breath as she pushed back her long brunette hair. "Just keep your mouth shut and you'll be fine," she murmured to herself. She was a very attractive girl, but then you had to consider the fact that she talked to spirits, and not everyone could see spirits. She had trained like this for years, so had no friends and no social life. Her only real friends were the spirits of the deceased. She had been training for a while now, though of course she ignored half of her lessons.
It was true she was a new student, but she wished that someone else would be kind to her for once and actually speak to her gently and sweetly, but it seemed like something like that was just impossible to hope for. She let out a small sigh as she listened to the whispers of spirits around her. She had yet to find her guardian spirit, yet something called to her like she would find it living here. She wondered though if it was something else, but it didn't matter. She would attend school here, and still train for the Shaman tournament that would soon begin, and she was ready to compete, even if she was critisized for being a woman. She would pursue this goal, and she was determined to come out victorious. She gazed around the crowed, she wondered though if anyone would speak to her. She wondered that with her heart and soul. She sighed slightly and paced towards the school gates. She was the new girl, and would most likely be the odd one in the school.
