Utau now appeared into the building. She wrapped her arms around Kanki. "You, go," she instructed Nagumi. She slapped Kanki. "Kanki . . . you don't understand . . . it's probably much harder for her to fight it off. If you act like this . . . and open your heart so easily . . . . then they'll get you too!"

"KANKI!" BELIEVE! BELIEVE IN YOUR WOULD BE SELF!! YOU HAVE TO, OR ELSE..... OR ElSE... KYOUTO WILL DISSAPPEAR! KANKIIIII!!" Nagumi continued limping with him over towards the window. "I can't just leave you two in here alone! How do I get him down though, "She asked as she reached the window. "Utau! Help me get him through the window."

"Utauu..." Kanki murmured, squeezing his eyes shut and coughing lightly from his cold. "What's the point...It's my fault Shizu and Ikuto are like this....mother was right...I don't deserve any of what I have...I deserve to die...." See, now, Utau was the only one who DIDN'T know that his mother had been abusive towards him. "She should have killed me all those chances that she had..." tears began to fall down his face. "It's pointless!"
"Kaaaaankiiiii!" Kyouto wailed, shoving at the top part of his egg, but it closed completely and he rattled about in it. "KANKI!"

Utau narrowed her eyes, now pressing her lips to Kanki's. "Even if the world turns against you . . . . there will always be someone there loving you Kanki . . . and I will be that person for you. Now, hurry . . . I promise you . . . . we will save Ikuto." she stroked his cheek now. "Just believe in yourself . . . "

"KANKI!!! PULL YOURSELF TOGETRHER!!" Nagumi tried to pull him through the window. "WOULD SHIZUKESA WANT YOU TO DIE!?!?!? NO SHE WOULDN'T!! YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE! WE WILL HELP SHIZUKESA TOGETHER! BUT WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!" Nagumi's bow was now being absorbed into the darkness. It was getting closer. "Hurry! Kankiiii!"

Kanki's eyes widened lightly at Utau kissing him, but he didn't even make a move to pull away. "Fine..." he murmured, grabbing Kyouto's egg lightly. "Let's just go..." he did a character change with Yakedo, cat ears and a tail popped out before he jumped out the window, tears in his eyes.

Haishi narrowed her eyes focusing as there was a loud and large explosion from the room of the building where everyone had been. "I'll meet you again everyone . . . when Shizukesa is ready . . . . " murmered Haishi. A crowd seemed to gather around the building now.

"Kanki...." Nagumi followed, still chara Transformed with the unknown chara. "I wonder if he really will be ok...?" Nagumi leapt for the tree she entered by, and landed in Kenshin's arms. "Huh? Your the one from earlier... right?"

"Yep! Now, come on beautiful! Your coming with me...!" He was still chara transformed with his chara. He leapt from the tree, soaking wet, and headed in the opposite direction of her house.

"W-wait! My house is the other way! Um.... Where are you taking me anyways...?" Hanashi followed, not saying a word.

"You'll see...." He smirked, continuing too leap from tree to tree through the rain.
Nagumi was really worried about Shizukesa and Ikuto, but most of all, she was worried about Kanki.

"...Kanki...." Nagumi sneezed. She was starting to catch a cold too. She was chara transformed still, but she was none the less soaking wet as well as Kenshin, and she was really tired from being Chara Transformed for so long.

Yumi sighed in content leaning back in a chair. She took a breath. "All of them are idiots," she giggled.
Shizukesa sighed slightly, looking at Ikuto. She could tell that he was fighting the urge to stay whole, though faking to be under control.

Kenshin stopped in the middle of the forest. There was a huge tree there that looked kind of like a house. "Uh.... Where are we...?"

"My home." Kenshin leapt into a clearing on one of the thick branches of the tree. Inside te tree looked like a regular home, except everything was made out of wood. "This is our secondary home. We stay here for a few days then we go to our actual home." He sat Nagumi down on the couch and got a towel for her to dry herself off. After that, he went to the bathroom and shook himself dry, like a wolf. "So... do you like nature...?" He sat next to her on the couch, still chara transformed.

"Yes... I suppose I do..." Nagumi sneezed again, and when she did, her Chara transformation was broken. She continued to dry herself off, and she dried of Hanashi as well. Then something hit her. "Wait... did you say 'we'?"

Kenshin smirked. "Oh yeah, you haven't met my-" Kenshin was interrupted by a crash that came from another section of the tree.

"KENSHIN! IS THAT YOU?!? YOUR HOME!!" A girl came running out of an opening in the tree. "She glomped Kenshin and they both hit the floor with a thud. "Kenshin! Next time, tell me where your going before you run of like that!" She sat up, allowing Kenshin to sit up as well. "And who is she...?" The girl pulled out a short sword ant pointed it at Nagumi. "Is she an intruder? A spy?!?!?"

"No, sis.. she's not a spy... She's my girl." Kenshin smirked at Nagumi, who was flustered.

"W-WHAT?!?!?! THAT SCRAWNY LITTLE GIRL!?!?!" THe girl chara changed with her chara, Hanza, and pointed a double bladed spear at her instead of the short sword. "WHAT'S SO GOOD ABOUT HER?!? SHE COULD NEVER LIVE UP TO MY STANDARDS FOR YOU!!!!" She bared small fangs at nagumi, her wolf tail swishing back and forth rapidly.

"Calm down sis... your getting loud again..." Kenshin pulled the spear from her hand, and the girl broke from her chara change.

"Fine...." She went upstairs to her room in the tree.

"Don't tell me she wants to marry you...? Does she...?"

Nagumi sneezed twice in a row.

"No no.. she's just very clingy... Her name's Ayame. We're fraternal twins." He walked over to the kitchen area and pulled out some rasberries. He handed them to Nagumi. "I hope you like rasberries." He smiled at her. "After you finish those, then you get some rest.

"Um.. okay..." Nagumi ate one, and found it deliciouse. She had never had rasberries before. "Mmm! These are good!"She shared some with Hanashi, and they both ate them quickly. After they finished, Nagumi layed down on the couch, and quickly fell asleep with Hanashi next to her.

Ikuto struggled more. Yoru having that darkness in him was not the best thing. He narrowed his gaze, lightening it as Yumi came by. This charade seemed to work, as long as he seemed calm, and spoke the right words and agreed with her.
"They are eliminated," murmered Shizukesa, closing her eyes slightly, feeling a tear roll down her cheek, imagining Kanki dead."

Utau held Kanki in her arms now. "Kanki, love . . . it's alright," she purred. "When you get better . . . we'll look for Ikuto."

Kyouto's sealed egg was now bouncing up and down on Kanki's head, screeching. "Baka! You baka! GET ME OUT OF HERE! BAKA BAKA BAKA!" yowled the chara's voice from the egg. "BAKA!"
Kanki closed his eyes lightly. "What's the point...I'm useless anyway...sick or not, I'm useless either way..." he murmured.

Utau shook her head. "Don't say that Kanki . . . . it's yours and Ikuto's happiness . . . . that kept me striving . . . kept me going . . . . don't lose that sparkle. . . ." She cradled his face in her fingertips. "Can't you see . . . when you fall down . . pick yourself up . . . don't fail me now, Kanki." She kissed his forehead. "Try, because I know that you are not useless."

"And of course..nobody notices me...I feel sooo loved..." Kyouto's voice hissed from inside of his egg that continued to pounce up and down on Kanki's head.
"Utau..." Kanki murmured, closing his eyes lightly.

Utau smiled. "I promise to be there for you . . . and to help you, but you must keep trying . . or I'll lose faith in myself . . . for not being able to help you." She grabbed Kyouto's egg, grinning. "Now . . . help him .. . . show me you have faith. . . . "

Kanki sighed and closed his eyes, wiping the tears away and also wiping the small stream of blood away from his lip from Shizukesa slapping him rather hard a few times. "I can't help but feel that this is all my fault though..."
"Well, locking me back into my egg is all your fault you baka! BAKA!" Kyouto hissed

Utau shook her head slightly. "Don't blame yourself for something so big. We all make mistakes and need to learn how to overcome them." She smiled. "So . . do you want to fix this mess together?" she winked at him.

Kanki blinked lightly. "Umm...sure? I think..." he murmured, running his fingers through his still-damp hair and coughing lightly. "I'm catching a cold..." he said, annoyed.
