Miki paced down the stairs. She sighed slightly as she walked into the kitchen and grabbed both of their dinners, then went back up the stairs.

Haru looked at Miki as she entered and exited the kitchen, 'Miki...Is Maranda okay?' He stayed seated knowing that it would be better to give them some space.

Haru lay on his side on the couch thinking about the future. He was thinking so deeply that he accidently fell asleep, snoring a little every now and then.

Miki came into the room and handed Maranda her food.
"I'm sorry I'm such a burden to you and Karu . . ." she said instantly.
Miki frowned. "Don't say that . . . you aren't."

Haru tossed un-peacefully on the couch, murmering some things. He rolled over and landed on the cold floor. 'Holy crap!!' He screamed, not realizing that he had fallen asleep. He couldn't feel anything in his ankle and figured he was fine if that wasn't hurting.

Maranda shook his head. "I just . . . I am. Don't say that I'm not, Miki . . . " she bit her bottom lip.
Miki stood up. "Shut up! Shut your mouth, you know damn well that it isn't you thats keeping your brother from coming . . " she bit her lip.

Haru looked at the ceiling, yelling could be heard. /What the hell?/ He sat back on the couch, continuing to watch the ceiling.

"You're being loud," retorted Maranda bitterly. "I think I'm going to go out for a bit!" She went to the balcony, and jumped down from the second floor, landing squarely on her feet.
"Don't be out all night," commented Miki.

The yelling ceased and Haru looked around the room, trying to think of something to do.

Miki stormed down the stairs, both plates in her hands, untouched.
"What happened?" queried Karu, jumping up, proving that he wasn't hurt.

Haru turned in Miki's direction, 'You ok?' He grabbed his crutches and stood up, 'Why were you two yelling?'

Haru ran his fingers through his hair, 'She's smart...'He paused for a moment, looking at the door 'I'm going for a walk too, I have a lot of things I need to think over...I'll be back later.' He waved and made his way towards the door.
