Yuki sucked in his breath slightly. "Akito might hurt her if he finds out," Yuki said. (Only Kureno, Shigure, Ayame, and Hatori know Akito's a woman)

'I won't let Akito come near her..Not after what happened to her this morning. I can get past the pain of taking the hits for Maranda, it would be a reminder of why I love her so much.' He stood up leaning against the wall.

Haru sighed, 'I know you're right but Maranda doesn't care about that...She doesn't care that I can't hold her; she just loves me for who I am.' He scratched the back of his neck, 'I don't care that I can't hold her either, just knowing that someone genuinely loves me is enough.'

Yuki looked down at hus feet. "I'm not supposed to be loved," he said after a moment. "My mother doesn't care either. How can you just sit there and wait for the one you love to forget you!"
