Serenity looked up at the bright moon as it flashed above her. Her eyes gleamed. She crossed them once in irritation. This was just stupid. Why was she at this stupid school anyhow. Yeah, she could control fire, but why was that even important?

Zane sat up against a tree, with a sketch book in front of him and a pencil hanging out of his mouth with another on his ear. He glanced up at the scenery he was drawing, the school gardens where fire flies flitted about. His head went back down to his art work as he continued to draw it. Zane Ergo, he was very handsome, and had control over the two opposite elements of Fire and Ice...it was odd yes, but he was very odd anyway. Everybody at the school, even the newer students, had started calling him 'Zane the Priss' it wasn't his fault he could cook, clean, draw, even dance{Though it was something he'd learned in his spare-time, which was very few when he grew up.}

Serenity sighed, throwing a text book into the air, and burning it to ashes. She sighed. "I wanna go home," she whispered softly. Her voice carried on the wind. Her gaze was twisted in confusion. Her deep eyes focused ahead of her. What was she going to do? She frowned, wishing that Aisu wasn't in class at the moment. She was out of class for the rest of the day, and felt like roaming around. She glanced at Zane as she paced forward.

Zane glanced up, frowning as Serenity got in the way of his scene. "Umm...could you please move? I'm trying to draw the gardens..." he said meekly, looking up to peer at Serenity. His hair was a mop of messy blue hair that hung slightly over his eyes.

"Oh, I'm sorry," she said, stepping aside. "Is that better? " her intimidating blue gaze swept across him. "You look lonely . . . are you waiting for someone?" Her gaze lifted up at the moon, smiling.

"I'm always lonely..." Zane said, turning back down to his drawing. "I've been lonely for as long as I can remember...the people here have a nickname for me, surprised you haven't heard it. I'm known as Zane the Priss...because I can cook, clean, draw, and even dance...He sighed, running his fingers through his hair.

"I probably could use one..." Zane said, shrugging. "But maybe I am a priss...guys normally don't know how to cook, or even clean for that matter." he said sullenly. "The only reason I knew is because my family thought I was a 'freak..' he said, sighing while running his fingers through his hair. "Of course, I have Morgan, she's one of us, but refuses to go here. She's kinda shy though...barely get a few words out of her."

She smiled. "Well, that's kinda sad. I'm here with my brother. He's been here for a year or two, and is top in the school, and I burst into a rage at school one day, and this boy caught fire . . . not my fault. My parents sent me here," she sighed.

"I wasn't even at school when I found out my powers; fire and ice. Two complete opposites..." Zane said, running his fingers through his hair again out of habit. "I discovered them when I was two, and my parents imediately feared for their lives and thought I would burn down the house and kill them all." he said flatly. "So, they were going to sell me to the government to use for experiments and crap, so I ran away."

"Hm. My brother Blake was perfect in every way. Normal. Not like me, the 'freak' after that, they acted like I was dead and that they were mourning parents who had just gotten over their son's death." Zane said, snorting slightly. "When in reality, I was living in a dog house in the back yard cooking and cleaning, doing Blake's homework when I learned how to write, doing everything.."

"Well, I'm the idiot of my family," she chuckled lightly. "Well, in my parents' opinions anyway." she sighed, brushing back her hair with her slender fingertips. She grinned slightly. "You in class now?"

"I just got out." Zane said. "Came out to draw..." he said, putting hte finishing touches on his uncolored drawing, quite frankly, it was amazing. "Need to color it now..." he said, fishing around in his bag for some colored pencils.

"This picture I've been drawing for about an hour, but I've been drawing since I could read and write, at about four." Zane said, starting to color. "What else was I supposed to do in my spare time when I lived at home? Other than learn to dance..."
