The limo took off to a screeching start as that headed for Mai's school.

Ryouta looked back at Mara, who looked a bit confused and self concious.

"Oy, Mara." he called to her all the way in the back of the limo,"Thanks for tagging along, it's more fun when you're meeting with someone new, dont you think?" he smirked. He turned around and watch the driver. The driver leaned in to hear what Ryouta was telling him. He glanced back at Mara and smiled.

"Keep you eye on the road before you get us into an accident." Ryouta told the driver coldly. The driver quickly resumed back to his driving position.

"Just turn down this road, we're going to pick up, Mai."
"Ah, yes sir," the driver said happily,"She's such a cute girl." He smiled.
"Heh, yes she is." Ryouta leaned on his door, resting his chin on his knuckles as he watch the trees pass by,"Would you like to meet Mai, Mara? I'm sure she would take a liking to you." he called, as they stopped in front of a school just about as big as Ouran.

"Yeah. No problem...."

Mara looked up curiously when Ryouta whispered something to the driver. She could have sworn she heard the driver say she was cute and Ryouta agree with him. She looked towards the window and blushed a little.

A little girl with golden locks and green eyes walked up to the limousine smiling brilliantly. She wore a yellow dressy outfit with frills along the collar and the rims of the dress. The driver jumped out of the vehicle and opened the door on his side for her.

"Mai." Ryouta smiled, he grabbed her hand and picked her up,"Where would you like to go to eat?" he asked happily.

She closed her eyes and crossed her arms deep in thought,"Lets go to that fancy restaurant you always go to." she giggled. Ryouta looked at her a little shocked,"You told me the food there is nasty."
"I'm a big girl now! I can take their nasty food like you can."
He looked at her a bit confused,"Well, ok."

As she entered the car she noticed another girl sitting in her usual spot.
"Who are you?" she blinked a few times before backing away. She noticed her black and white hair, she grabbed a strand.

"Is this your real hair color?" she asked suspiciously,"You're really skinny, but you have a pretty face." she smiled.

Mara looked at the girl for a moment. She was really cute.

"My name's Mara Hikaru. Its nice to meet you Ma-"

Mara's head tilted slightly as Mai grabbed her hair. Mara stared at her as she asked was it her real hair color.

"Well, some of it is, but I added a few extra highlights to make it more even."

A sweat drop appeared on the side of Mara's head when Mai said she was skinny, but she smiled a little when the girl said she had a pretty face.

"Thanks... But....everyone keep saying im skinny... Am I really that skinny that everyone's saying that...?! <:l

[Kilatani]

"Silly!" Mai laughed. Ryouta looked back at the both of them fron the front. Mai was bouncing all over the place, poking at Mara's head, playing patty cake, and Mai would laugh as she poked at Mara's stomach.

"It's like its always empty!" she said with amazement.
"Dont worry, Mai," he rested his head on the shoulder of the chair as he looked back at the girls,"Im sure there will be a lotof food at the restaurant we're going to." he smiled gently.

Mai jumped up squealing,"Whee! Arent you happy Mara's stomach?" she patted Mara'sstomach like a dog,"You will actually get a meal today!" she giggled.

Ryouta smiled at Mara, she seems to be having fun, he thought.

Mara sweatdropped again, but smiled a little that Mai was having fun. That's what made kids so adorable.

"Well, at my house, the chefs serve there really nice buffets, but I'm never really all that hungry... The most I normally eat a day is 2 times plus a snack, unless im sick, then I just drink OJ all day long..."

[Kilatani]

Mara seem to be unaware of how skinny she was, or maybe it was her metabolism. Either way, she just didnt seem to notice how skinny she was. The limousine driver looked at me,"Sir, your eyes seemed to be attached to that pretty lass in the back."

"It's hard to look away from someone who needs help." he said, thinking quickly. The driver looked at him as if there was more to it.
"In any case, sir, we're here at the restaurant Madam Mai mentioned earlier."
"No, before you enter the parking lot, lets go over there." He pointed in the opposite direction at another restaurant,"They have lots of food Mai loves." he said blankly.

"Of course, sir." He turned around,"Any particular reason this one is so special?"
"Not really, I just like to see Mai happy, this place definitely bring out her smile." he smirked.

Mara noticed that they arrived in front of the restraunt, but then they drove across the street to the other one. She assumed Ryouta did this because of Mai's dislike for the food at the other restraunt.

Mai lowered her window and looked out.

"Hey Ryouta, you passed Snooty Grill." she grunted as she took he seat back beside Mara,she looked toward Mara, "Can you believe this?" she crossed her arms and let her golden hair slap Mara, but on accident.

"Here we are, Mai." Ryouta called happily. Mai looked at him ad grunted,"This isnt where I wanted to go, Okaa-san," she huffed,"I wanted to show you how much I've grown since the last time we went there."

Ryouta looked at her a bit confused,"But Snooty Grill doesnt have a play arena." he laughed.

"P-P-PLAY ARENA!!!!" she jumped out of the car and rushed into the kiddie restaurant, Rick Donalds, better than Mick.

Mara was a bit agitated when Mai's hair slapped her face, but she was sure that Mai wouldn't do something like that on purpose, so she let it go.

"Uh....Snooty Grill...?"

That was a weird name for a restaurant, but I guess that's what rich people did. Mara never really did embrase the 'snooty' life of other rich kids...

[Kilatani]

In front of the restaurant was a elephant in clown make up making funny faces toward the kids. As Mai passed by the elephant, she made faces back at the elephant. Ryouta, who stood behind Mai, giggled a little but hid it quickly as Mara stepped out of the limo.

"Thought fast food would fatten you up faster than healthy ritzy food." he said blankly staring at Mara. Mai quickly grabbed at Mara's hand.

"Come to the play tent so that we can play while we wait for our food!!" she looked back at Ryouta,"We should tell him what we want before we leave."

"No, since you're so grown," he smiled,"You should tell the cashiers what you want, easy?"

"YES! Of course!!" Mai yelled nervously gripping onto Mara's hand tighter,"I cant really do this on my own, can you come with me?" she whispered to Mara.

Ryouta watched the two of them run into the double doors, giggling. He doesnt remember the last time Mai has taken some in like that so quickly. He thought for a minute, Y'know that is a but weird how easily they got along..., he shrugged and continued to walk behind them. He signaled his driver to park where the limo wouldnt be seen, checked his watch, it was around dinner time.

"After this I should bring Mara back to school...seems like we've stayed out way too long," he sighed,"By the time we get to Mai's school she'll be so rowdy and uncontrollable, maybe I should of thought this Rick Donald thing thouroughly." he talked to himself as he walked into the restaurant.

Mara was a little lenient about the playpen, but she agreed to go to the counte with Mai.

"Do they have chicken nuggets? I love those things..."

Mara looked at the menu. It had been a while since she last ate fast food. It was shortly before her father died when she went. But that was years ago...

"There they are. Chicken nuggets. I'll take those please. And what do you want Mai?"

Mai checked the list cautiously, making a note in her head what to try the next time she came here. Most of the pictures overwhelmed her, they all looked so delicious, she drooled a little at the side of her mouth.

"Wow, they must've changed the whole menu recently!" she gasped,"I dont know what to decide!!" she laughed.

Ryouta walked up behind the two girls and noticed that Mara had only ordered nuggets. He looked at her curiously,"Only nuggets? Isnt there something else you want?" He placed his hands in his pocket and looked down at Mai,"Do you want me to order for you, little girl?" he joked.

Mai huffed,"Little girl?! You better look again old man! I'm grown." she crossed her arms and looked away from Ryouta. She glared at the cashier lady,"Excuse me, Miss?" she peeped her head over the counter,"I would like to order the peppy kids meal. With extra nuggets." She smiled to herself thinking, 'that'llshow Ryouta. I can order my food and I can make big orders.'

Mai had wondered off into her own little world when Ryouta came to the counter and ordered his food.

"Excuse me, Miss?" he called for the cashier.
"Yes.....sir?" she blushed,"How may I help you?"
"I would like a #4 and can you change the nugget order to something larger?" he asked.
"...Sir, I dont think she wants her order changed." she sighed.
"Of course she does, I know she's hungry." he smiled,"She just wants to look cute."
"Is she your girlfriend, sir?" the cashier asked as she changed the nugget order, slightly dissappointed.
"Nothing like that." he said.
"Ok, all this together will cost you $24.98." she smiled.
He handed her a $50, took the meals and walked away.

Mai took hold of Mara's wrist and pulled her into a pool of balls,"Uwhaa! I love this place, it sure does have everything, right, Mara?" Mai let her eyes wander onto around the playroom,"Look a jungle!!" she squealed, yanking Mara out of the pool.

Ryouta came into the room, holding the tray of food watching Mai and Mara running back and forth across the giant room.
"Your food is here." he called out to Mai. Mai looked at Mara,"Time to eat!!"she smiled.

Mara was about to answer Ryouta's questin before being yanked into the pool of balls by Mai. She was dragged all over the playpen and was very thankful when Ryouta called them to eat.
'Thank God...' She whispered to herself.

"Yep. It's that time..."

Mara smiled back at Mai as they both walked to their table. Mara niticed that her order was a bit bigger than what she ordered. Ryouta must've did it. He really WAS trying to fatten her up.

"My order's a bit bigger than I wanted... But I guess I can try and eat it, since everyone thinks im so skinny..."

Mara prayed over her food before eating.

"Itadakimasu."
( Translation: It's time to eat; in case you didn't know...)

Ryouta sat and the table, resting his head on his hands.

"Dont act like you cant stomach all that food," he laughed,"I saw the way you looked at it."

Mai took a hand full of nuggets and and stuffed her face.
"MMM YUM!!"she shouted, food flying out of her mouth,"OOH, look at your food. I believe you only asked for nuggets."

Ryouta took a bite of his sandwich and sipped some of his soda, staring at Mara.

Mai glared at her sandwich and took a gigantic bite out of it.
"My geez, eating commoner's food is like stepping into heaven."
"You wouldnt say that if you knew what happens when you eat nothing but commoner food." Ryouta mumbled
"What was that?"
"Nothing." he smiled.

"So, Mara, hows YOUR food?"

[Amu Hinamori]

Mara began eating her chicken nuggets.

"Wow... These things are better than I remember."

She smiled as she continued to eat. She laughed a little at Ryouta's comment.

"He means if you eat too much of this kind of food (fast-food, to be precise) you'll get fat. That's why I havent had it in so long... But every now and again is perfectly fine..."

Mara bit into another nugget. She was actually eating quite well... For once in a while.

[Kilatani]

A few minutes passed...

"Wow!"Mai exclaimed, crumbs of food tumbling out of her mouth,"Mara,you're practically glowing now!"

"I wouldnt say glowing, maybe just full," he looked at Mara's empty food wrapper, empty nugget box and her large drink, which was also empty,"I was being sarcastic when I said that you could stomach all that food, y'know."

Mai had only halfway finished her food and Ryouta only finished his sandwich. Both still had at least half a cup full of their drink left.

"Uwah...I'm so full..." Mai looked at a ring on her finger and pressed a button on the side, revealing a watch on her finger, "Well, it looks like lunch is way pat over....i still have a few hours in school, but can I stay with you and Mara, Ryouta?" Mai pressed the button once more to put the watch away.

"I'm not so sure about that." he looked at Mara, and smiled,"Maybe you should ask Mara if there's any other place that she wants to go." Ryouta smiled.

Mai looked toward Mara,"So what do you think Mara? Wanna go on another adventure?" then she turned her back toward,"Or do you want to spend some 'quality time' with my okaa-san?"

[Amu Hinamori]

Mara looked at the remains of her meal and was a little shocked that she ate all of that by herself.

"Wow... I didn't think I'd eat it all.... But now I feel... fat..."

Mara poked her tummy and it felt like she gained a few lbs. from the meal.

"Well.. I hate school so we can go to the beach. And I think it would be nice if you did come alone Mai."

Mara DID want to hang out with Ryouta alone for a little while, but she was a little tooembarrassed to say so. Besides, she kind of enjoyed Mai's company. She was like the little sister Mara never had.

[Kilatani]

"The beach, eh?" Ryouta blushed a little thinking of how Mara would look in a bikini,"Sounds interesting..." he gulped nervously.

Mai was bouncing all around the playroom,"The beach, how wonderful!!!" she squealed,"Wouldnt we have to go get our swimming outfits before we head off to the beach, you think?"

When Mara started to feel on her stomach, Ryouta could help but laugh a little. To her it looked like a lot but from Ryouta's point of view, Mara's stomach was no larger than his fist.

"Sounds like a good idea." Ryouta also thought it would be a great oppurtunity to show off his body and possibly woo Mara.

Mai started to snap in Ryouta's face,"Come back to us Ryouta!" Mai sighed, cant wait to go to the beach.

"The beach it is then. Oh, I forgot... I dont have any swim suits. My step-father never really did take me swimming."

Mara sighed. It seemed like a good idea. Well, maybe next time...
