Kanki leapt for the egg as well, but Kyouto had other plans and severed their transformation, floating out and snagging the egg first. "I got it! Haha! I got it! Nya!" he stuck his tongue out at Nagumi. "I got the egg! Kaaanki!" he chucked the egg to him.
Kanki easily caught it, stuffed it into his pocket and took off running back towards the school, grabbing his violin case as he went before growing cat ears and a tail and leaping onto the roof, jumping from there as well to the next building and onward towards his own school. "I got one on my own! Maybe I'm not as useless as I thought!"

"HEY! YOU CAN'T JUST TAKE ME!!!" Hanashi Finished hatching and wrenched from Kanki's grip. "seeya!" SHe flew back to her proper owner.

Kanki scowled his tail lashing out at Hanashi and wrapped around her before she got farther away. "You're aren't going anywhere!" he snorted in annoyance, but mainly because Kyouto was still character changed with him. "I want to show everybody that I'm not a failure..."

"Ack! Nagumi-Chan! Help me!" Hanashi bit Kanki's tail as hard as she could, clawing him with her paws to get loose.

"I'm coming!" Nagumi caught up with them and pulled Hanashi from his tail. She then tookoff in the opposite direction.

"NYA NYA!!!" Hanashi stuck her tongue at them. "SERVES YA RIGHT FOR STEALING PEOPLES EGGS!!!"

"Yeowch!" Kanki squeaked, letting go of Hanashi when she bit his tail. He rubbed it for a moment, sighing in defeat as he fell into a sitting position. "I truly am a failure without Ikuto.." he mumbled. "My mother was right...I'm a failure and always will be..." See, now Kanki had a rather abusive childhood, thus giving him a rather low self-esteem, and low confidence in his abilities.

Nagumi stopped for a moment and approached him again. "Your not a failure... Mabey this is just going to show that your doing the wrong thing... Don't you think that taking other peoples' Shugo eggs is bad...?"

"OF COURSE ITS BAD!!! HMPH!" Hanashi turned her head the toher way, crossing her paws. "Maybe you should put your skills to better use. Have you considered that, Kanki?"

"I know it's bad to do that...but I have to...I have a contract with Easter...and I'm not going to leave my brother all alone there with them..." Kanki said, sighing heavily and closing his eyes, he ran his fingers through his hair and rose to his feet, cats ears and a tail popping out as Kyouto took over. "Yes! Of course we'll be friends!" he announced confidently, rapidly shaking her hand while on the inside, the normal Kanki sighed. 'Character change...stupid Kyouto...sorry about the stupid...'

Fujisaki blinked seeing the incident. She had the notebook in her hand that had been in the violin case. She frowned slightly, flipping through the pages. "Tadase, this is important. I'm going to put this away. Go help that girl."
Tadase nodded solemnly as his character changed. He let out a small laugh before jumping off the building and landing on his feet. He took off in their direction.

"EHeheheh..." SHe giggled a bit. So you and uh...Ikuto? You guys are under some contract with Easter...? What exactly is it anyway... Easter...?" SHe sat down next to him.

"Yeah, we are...our father works for them or something...I don't really know. I never see him anyway." Kanki said, shrugging. "Don't even know what he looks like, anyway...Easter wants to get the Embryo, which will grant any wish...and they also have been....corrupting some of the guardian eggs, which everybody has, into X eggs which is the destruction of their dreams..."
Kyouto was now sitting on Kanki's shoulder, looking bored. "Yo...you left your violin back at the school again..."

"Oh.. That's horrible..." She stands up. "We have o do something about that.. I'll try and help you and Ikuto break the contract....ok?" She smiles. "Thats what friends are for!"

Tadase appeared a fierce look in his eyes "Get away from her," he hissed. "Where is Ikuto?" He looked around, expecting a trap.

Fujisaki tucked the notebook under both hands and held it to her chest. She finally got to the royal garden and sighed. She was exhausted.

Kyouto floated over to Tadase and flicked his forehead. "No, we aren't doing anything this time, little itty bitty princeling! Now, why don't you go run along and play with some pretty little princesses?"
"Kyouto! Don't be rude..." Kanki squeaked, flailing his hands slightly. "I'm sorry! Ikuto went to school! I was going to, but I left my violin...can I have it back please?"
In Kanki's notebook would be some vital information about Easter, but most of it was from his childhood from the time he could write until right around now. It even mentioned how he and Ikuto were connected to Easter.

"Prince? Prince? Mwahahaah! I am king! And you shall address me as this, for one day I shall rule the world and you will regret calling me a mere prince! I am KING!" he laughed triumphantly, flags in the background saying King Tadase.
After a moment he returned to normal. He frowned. "You can have your violin when you return that chara egg to Shizukesa," he hissed enraged that he had been through a character change he rather disliked.

"I shall never call you my king!" Kyouto said, flicking his forehead again. "You will forever be a little princeling! So nya!" he stuck his tongue out at him, before swiping his tail under Tadase's nose, grinning.
"Kyouto! Stop being rude!" Kanki squeaked, flailing lightly. "Sorry for my chara's rudeness...I'm sorry so very sorry!" he squeaked. "And I can't...Ikuto has it, and he's not going to give it to me...but my journal was in that case! I've had it since I learned how to write!"

Tadase character changed again, grabbing Kyouto's tail. "I am KING! Mwahahahahahaaha!" he roared. "Now my servants, let us leave in search of the embryo!"
Seki nodded. "Yes! It's world domination!"
Tadase blinked, coming out of his character change. "You mean the one that . . . ."
"Fujisaki had?" finished Seki.

"You pulled my tail! Stupid princling! I'm not your servant!" Kyouto said, glaring at him. "You're no king...you're just some princeling whelp! WHELP! Kitten!" he snorted and floated back over to Kanki's shoulder.
"It's hard to believe this is my would-be self, isn't it?" Kanki asked, forcing a smile. "I would be like this...but my childhood....well, anyway...yes..that's it...I need it back...I really do...every thought, dream, and hope I've had is in it..."
The funny thing was that one of Kanki's child-hood dreams was to be a super hero, but now he was just kinda a villian...and a few of the pages closer to the front were stained with past tears, along with some of the entries being rather messy because on a few ocassions, his writing arm was sprained or broken.
